You can’t really blame the insistent fans of the now separated duo, Psquare. Despite all indications by each party that their musical partnership is over, fans seem to see a glimmer of hope (maybe the law of seeking, and finding applies here). As usual, a lot happened over the week – from youths blockading the streets to protest their abandonment by the power holding company, to the mass-scale decamping of political leaders from one party to another – and celebrities filled their entertainment quota.
Psquare
One half – Mr P (the dancer) – of the estranged duo has expressly stated that the only way psquare can be a loving pair again is if his immediate family regains their lost respect. “Psquare can only come back if the respect comes 100 per cent.” He said to Citizen TV, Kenya.
Yawn. We hope this family feud ends soon.
Dbanj
What can one do after the death of a loved one? How does one act? Or move on, for that matter? Losing a loved one to the cold grip of death is painful, but the pain of losing one’s child cannot be matched. Dbanj, who recently lost his son, has broken his online silence to thank family, friends and well-wishers for their support and admit that the only way they’ve been able to move past the incident is through God’s love.
Our prayers remain with the family.
Wizkid
Now praised as a national treasure, Wizkid, Nigeria’s starboy is basking in a lot of fame and glory, even amongst the world’s best. The star who was paid a visit by Pdiddy, the ex-musician and now businessman, enjoyed the attention and praises showered on him. The 1-minute Instagram video has already garnered one million plus views.
Go Wizzy!
Femi Kuti
A stray cat has been found in the musician’s camp. Mr Kuti took to Instagram to divulge the challenge he faced before his performance; his bassist, Andrew Aghedo, disappeared just before the show. And judging from his sister’s earlier vent, he may have used the show as an opportunity to leave the country.
