Strong indications emerged Friday morning that ‘Branama’ crooner, Kefee Obareke, who has been in coma, in a United State’s hospital, has passed on.
Although no official statement from the family yet, condolences have started pouring in from entertainers, most of whom have also used the singer’s photographs as their Blackberry Display Picture.
The afro-pop singer had been admitted in a Las Vegas hospital, United States, after slipping from a plane stairs, resulting into coma.
The news heightened emotions in the entertainment industry, when fellow artistes were asking people to pray for her quick recovery.
Her husband, Teddy Esosa, who confirmed her state of health then, also asked that people should join him to pray for his wife’s recovery.
While some said the artiste opened her eyes and spoke before her demise, conflicting reports said she never came out of coma.
The news has gone viral, with many wishing it away, and hoping that her family members will refute the information as soon as possible.
