Singer, Davido acquires land in Banana Island

Self-acclaimed “Omo Baba Olowo”, Davido in a Twitter post today, disclosed that he just acquired land in Banana Island to build his dream home.

“Let’s build our dream home,” Davido tweeted, while on his Instagram page, he said the proposed house will be the “craziest crib ever”.

Meanwhile, social media influencer, Tunde Ednut, said the singer informed him that he acquired the land for N2.5 billion.

In a post on his Instagram page, Ednut said Davido showed him the receipt of the property. He wrote:

“OBO just actually showed me the receipt of this land on a call just now. I see receipt, na me fear. Zero too plenty.”

Last month, the artist bought himself a 2022 Mercedes Maybach SUV. The vehicle was said to have cost him $358,300. Earlier this month, the award-winning singer became the first Nigerian to feature in an official FIFA World Cup soundtrack.
