Memories of rendezvous lie waiting
in the bosom of the empress ruling
the kingdom joy
Her regalia of endowment unfathomable
Leaving the moon dumbfounded
The sun became shy ’cause of her smile
For it melts the ice king
Those eyes rained unblemished affections
Sending the homeless home
Diffusing obstinacy from the defiant
They were twins of grace
Never seeing bad in nature
Those eyes looked me
melted my sorrows all the time
Those radiant eyes lit up my alley
In the moments of need, those eyes
shone brighter than the morning.
Forever is too short looking at those eyes
They paralyzed impossibilities
Brewed confidence
And locked away my dreams
Those elegant eyes haunted doubt out of Thomas
Glued the shattered hearts
Aeon of embroidery embellishments
Never knew they won’t stay
nothing good lasts for eternity
As my pen soiled with sorrow
writing this,
Oyin, those eyes were my brightest moments
How I’ve missed you!
Those gorgeous eyes would I inscribe
on the mountain of time.
