Do not cry when I’m gone,
keep my ink flowing
and the words of my letters
speaking forever.
Do not cry when I’m gone,
a poor lad
who has seen the good and the bad
pleading for the salvation of his soul.
Do not cry when I’m gone,
when my journey has ended,
and I have fulfilled
my destiny and calling,
I will then transit
to answer a higher calling.
Do not cry when I’m gone,
cry for a helpless kid or mother in the slums
who need helpers and Guardian Angels,
as for me,
in peace, I will sleep,
for eternity.
Do not cry when I’m gone,
I will be free from the earthly strife,
and this wicked and corrupt generation.
Do not cry when I’m gone,
I have forsaken all
and fought the good fight,
and won the race,
death is a day for my rest
let me sleep and slumber
in Heaven’s nest…
And I shall glory
in peace and not in pieces.
