As little children, we had some snacks that got us addicted. We used part of our lunch money to buy them. These snacks had plenty of sugar and some of them had side effects.
Now that we are grown-ups, we can’t eat such snacks because of health implications. Growing older, we become more selective of the foods we eat.
Here are 5 snacks that we used to crave as children:
1. Baba dudu
Do you remember babadudu? We would buy a roll and lick till we got tired.
2. Goody Goody
This chocolatey snack bar was another favourite. The advert had a sing-along song that made you dance as you eat it.
3. Robo Robo
Made of different colours, it was a good feeling popping Robo Robo one by one into the mouth.
4. Telephone juice
This had a peculiar taste, a deviation from the regular juice but we enjoyed it like that anyway.
5. Nutri C/Eve
We used to make thick concentrations of this drink. Two sachets that could be for 30 people, a child would dilute for himself or herself.
