We always love an unapologetic woman who is proud of her roots and culture. That woman for us today is Nigerian author and speaker, Luvvie Ajayi.
Taking a place as our Woman Crush Wednesday, Ajayi’s brilliance and witty sense of humour beamed through her first book, “I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual” which became a New York Times best-seller. Since then she’s taking on one successful project after another, her recent ones being the launch of two podcasts: “Rants and Randomness” with Luvvie Ajayi and “Jesus and Jollof” which she co-hosts with Yvonne Orji.
Recently, she got to successfully represent Nigeria (yes, her Ankara-print jumpsuit played a major part) with her co-host and friend, Yvonne Orji, at the famous Apollo Theatre for the “Africa Now” weekend concert.
We can’t wait to see what next she has to offer, but we are certain it will be genius and most definitely hilarious.
