Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Ola (Oler) Oladele is definitely doing what she knows how to do best and making positive impacts in that regard.
Ola is an accounting graduate of the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and has over 12 years experience in finance. She is currently the Senior Vice President, Global market at Parthian Partners Ltd, a fixed income brokerage firm in Nigeria.
She is also a CFA charter holder, and chairs the Gender Diversity Committee of the CFA Society Nigeria. Through this platform, she serves as an advocate responsible for the implementation of initiatives for the advancement of women in financial services. She is also a volunteer with the Women in Boards, Business and Politics of the Queen’s College Old Girls Association (QCOGA).
Among her other interests is bridging the pervasive personal finance, investing and economic literacy gap amongst working professionals. She does this through her own YouTube channel, social media and speaking engagements. She is also the founder of Money Wit Club, a community with a mission to build smart, informed and profitable investors.
Ola is a family woman, and enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Whenever she is not having family time, she is playing tennis, swimming and reading books.
