Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Seun Ganiyu-Alabi has distinguished herself in her field of work, making positive impacts on young professionals. She is a business development expert in market research, currently serving as the Business Development Lead for NielsenIQ (previously known as A.C. Nielsen).
Leading business development at NielsenIQ, she engages in strategic business decision-making by unveiling category and brand opportunities from market and consumer data, based on consumer needs and market trends.
Prior to her current role, she managed several NielsenIQ client accounts as a Senior Account Manager. These accounts included Coca-Cola, BAT, Suntory, Hayat Kimya, Sanofi Aventis, Twinings, Dangote, among others. Seun’s earlier working experience in the financial and public sector paved the way for her speedy career growth, including as an Associate Consumer Market Knowledge Manager at Procter & Gamble.
Seun is the recipient of several awards, with the most recent the Simply Excellence – Gold Award rewarded by NielsenIQ in the Nigeria & West Africa markets.
Seun believes in continuous improvement to stay relevant and ahead of competitors, and has garnered a number of skills to help her excel in her profession. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a master’s degree in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.
