Passionate, dedicated and inspiring are just a few words to describe our Woman Crush Wednesday in the person of Victoria N’dee Uwadoka, versatile communication professional with over 20 years’ experience covering the logistics, entertainment, beauty, healthcare, ICT, food and beverages industries.
Victoria began her career journey in the logistics industry as International Operations Manager, IAS/FEDEX. She then proceeded to work in various sectors including brand and reputation management, entertainment, beauty and healthcare. After which, she joined Microsoft Nigeria serving as the Public Relations and Events Manager, covering Anglophone West Africa. Her drive for excellence subsequently landed her an appointment as the Marketing Communications Manager for Microsoft West & Central Africa. From there, she joined Nestlé Nigeria in December 2016.
As Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager at Nestlé, Victoria’s primary responsibilities include building a sustainable value chain from farm to fork; leading the company’s engagement with industry, media, public sector, academia, and civil society; and driving advocacy for building a sustainable food system. In her current position, she has increased Nestlé’s social impact by creating sustainable bonds between the business and its stakeholders and communities.
An alumnus of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Victoria also holds professional certifications in Public Relations from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism and Marketing and Digital Communications from the Kellogg School of Management. She is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
She is passionate about creating opportunities for people and communities to achieve their maximum potential. She uses her expertise to help them build communications and relationship management strategies to drive business and social impact.
