Yetty Ogunnubi, fondly called “Yetty”, the Founder and Lead Publicist at The YD Company, was announced as the Nigeria Country Chair on Brand Creation and Marketing of The G100 Club in June 2022. The G100 Club comprises influential women leaders across the globe working for a gender equal, progressive and inclusive future.
The new appointee, Yetty Ogunnubi, expressed her elation with the recognition and promised to stay committed to the vision of The G100 Club in creating opportunities for women. She added that she would be a champion for women through notable contributions to the society.
Yetty’s contributions are already noteworthy. With almost two decades of experience in public relations and brand management, she is among the leading professionals in her field. She has managed publicity for multinationals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and government institutions, and has also led fashion and corporate exhibitions, creative events, and press conferences to promote brands.
The G100 Club provides thought leadership on ways to close gender gaps and achieve gender parity around the world. Yetty is passionate about mentoring young women, and youths more broadly, through The YD Foundation. She sits on the advisory board of the Lagos Creative Enterprise Week, which aims to chart pathways to success for creative youths; and she is also an alumna and a mentor of the US government empowerment initiative, Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). Her new position in The G100 Club affords Yetty with a new avenues to share her wealth of experience and knowledge and inspire others to succeed in their endeavours.
