Two members of South Africa’s ruling National African Congress were shot and wounded and third run by a car at a caucus meeting that turned bloody last month. ANC members in KwaXima, west of Durban had met to pick a candidate to represent them at an elective conference that month. Party rules require that 70 percent of branches meet to finalize their nominations for purposes of quorum at the conferece. Inmates of Ebola quarantine centres in Mafori Chiefdom in Port Loko District of Sierra Leone are now thanking their stars for saving them from hunger. This follows the donation of food items and cooking essentials to them by a non-governmental organization, Development Initiative Programme.
