It was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista, CA. He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to “explain God.” I wonder if any of us could have done as well? EXPLANATION OF GOD: “One of God’s main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn’t make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn’t have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk…
HOLY HUMOUR The new priest is nervous about hearing confessions, so he asks an older priest to sit in on his sessions. The new priest hears a couple confessions, and then the old priest asks him to step out of the confessional for a few suggestions. The old priest says, “Cross your arms over your chest and rub your chin with one hand.” The new priest tries this. The old priest suggests, “Try saying things like, ‘I see,’ ‘yes,’ ‘go on,’ ‘I understand,’ and ‘how did you feel about that?'” The new priest says those things, trying them out. The…

Primary food is more than what is on your plate. Healthy relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career and a spiritual practice can fill your soul and satisfy your hunger for life. By Bolarinwa Akande It did not matter to the judges that it was the contestants’ first appearance on the show, they scolded the burgeoning artistes for low performance, using words such as ‘cold’, ‘flat’ and ‘average’. The judges, Bibie Brew, Ade Bantu and TY-Mix spared no words in condemning all the 16 contestants. The move, according to them was for the contestants to step up to the quality of music and musicians which the Project Fame Academy has turned out, since it made debut. Expectedly, MTN Project Fame judges are known to be blunt in critically appraising performances in the…
