Men of the Delta State Police Command have arrested the managing director of an oil servicing company and some police officers who allegedly assaulted staff of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) on official duty in Warri, Delta State. Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has approved the compulsory retirement of Mr. Augustine Ebareko Akhuamhekhun, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities from Edo State Civil Service. In a letter signed by the Secretary to State Government, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, dated February 19, 2016, the retirement is with immediate effect.
