Daddy’s girl, you know I love you dearly. I am blessed because I have you as my daughter. I am very happy that my own father brought me up to admire and respect the female energy, honour their sensitivity and value their innate uniqueness.
You know that I truly believe that the world stands to benefit immensely if we get beyond our patriarchy, and stop hindering by design or default the self-actualization and unleashing of the female power in this world.
My dear daughter, since you were a baby I have taken the time to show you by words and by actions that irrespective of societal norms, a female child is as valuable as a male child. I have tried to instill in you the imperative of valuing who and what you are. Bear in mind as you journey through life that “You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here”-(Desiderata).
Yes, you have a right to assert yourself and be who or whatever you want to be. Don’t let anybody tell you differently or try to convince you otherwise.
You have a voice; don’t allow any situation stifle it.
You have an opinion, it can be shared.
You have your dreams, they are peculiar to you- don’t give them up.
You have a choice, in fact choices, you can choose the very best for yourself.
