MTV Base hosts young Nigerians at a round table to discuss burning issues facing the country, as well as encourage citizen voter participation ahead of the 14th February 2015 elections.
A special edition for the general elections would have 2Face Idibia, sound Sultan, Banky W, Yemi Alade, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Stanley Azu Akola, Japheth Omojuwa & Oreka Godis discuss issues as the elections approach.
Hosted by Oreka Godis, MTV Base Roundtable: “Choose or Lose”, premieres on Friday, February 6th, 2015 on MTV Base Channel 322 and STV.
The show features a stimulating debate from these key opinion formers as they address vital and topical issues in Nigeria. These issues include, Education, Power, Leadership and Healthcare.
The campaign, which rolls out on TV, digital and social media, features celebrities and members of the public as they underline the importance of youth participation in the electoral process.
Some of the notable personalities that have already lent their voice to the campaign include: Ben Murray-Bruce, MTV Shuga star Emmanuel Ikubese, Davido, Falz, Reminisce, Emma Nyra, Solid Star and Omalicha.
