Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Faith Senam Ocloo is the visionary behind e’april Public Relations. Based in Accra, she is a Fashion PR Specialist and fashion writer. With cumulative expertise over a decade, she has cultivated a rich array of knowledge and proficiencies spanning diverse domains, encompassing public relations and strategic communications, project and event management, customer relations, brand marketing, and social media administration.
Her agency, e’april PR which commenced operations in 2012 focuses on spearheading impactful PR campaigns exclusively tailored to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Since its inception, Faith has been at the forefront, orchestrating triumphant PR endeavours for enterprises, providing strategic counsel, nurturing media relationships, and refining brand messaging, all strategically oriented toward capturing the right attention, fostering trust, and augmenting rapport with pivotal stakeholders.
Faith’s clientele boasts an impressive roster including luminaries such as Adubea Jensen, Selina Beb, Ghana Menswear Week (previously known as Accra Men’s Fashion Week), Horseman Shoes, Pure Persona by Nana, SO Aesthetics, Nadrey Laurent, Chalé Clothing, and Evangel Magazine, among a plethora of other brands that she has collaboratively consulted with on project-based ventures.
Before dedicating herself fully to managing her PR agency in 2018, she served as an Account Manager for Unilever at Global Media Alliance. During her tenure, she was instrumental in the relaunch of Vaseline’s beauty product in the Ghanaian market. In addition, she adeptly managed a spectrum of other accounts, including Diamond Cement, Huawei, FHi360 Learning Project, and World Oral Health Day project.
Faith’s accolades are a testament to her prowess: she secured the 40 under 40 Achiever award in the Communications Category in 2020, was heralded as one of the 50 Inspiring Women in PR by Her Network in 2022, was recognized among the 9 African Leading Ladies in PR and the 5 African PR Titans by Leading Ladies Africa (LLA), and has an impressive portfolio of over 250 published articles under her authorship.
She also stands as the driving force behind Women in PR Ghana, a non-profit organisation she established in 2017. This platform is dedicated to empowering women studying and practising public relations by offering them avenues for professional growth, mentorship, networking, and leadership development.
