On Throwback Thursday, we look at one of Nollywood’s finest and most talented, Eucharia Anunobi. This movie veteran graduated with honors from a seminary after bagging a Ph.D. recently. She made headlines with this amazing feat.
Born in Owerri, Imo State, and went on to complete her primary and secondary school education there before proceeding to the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu where she graduated with a National Diploma in Mass Communication. Eucharia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree after studying the English Language at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She came into limelight for her role in the movie series Glamour Girls in 1994 and has gone on to star in over 90 movies including Abuja Connection and Letters to a Stranger. She is currently serving as an evangelist at a church in Egbeda, Lagos State. She lost her only son, Raymond, whom she described as her best friend to complications arising from sickle cell anaemia on August 22, 2017. He was aged 15.
