Less than a week after he was named the Yoruba man of the Decade, another international recognition has been accorded the General Overseer and Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations who has been listed among the world’s famous people of all time. According to the listing, Prophet T.B Joshua is among the World’s famous spiritual and religious leaders, a category which included great religious icons such as John the Baptist, Confucius, Dalai Lama, Desmond tutu, Saint Francis of Assisi, Mother Theresa and Martin Luther.
In other categories, writers such as Alexander Swift, Lord Byron, Wole Soyinka and John Bunyan were honoured. Renowned scientists such as Isaac Newton,Hippocrates and Blaise Paschal were also listed. Maverick guitarist and rock star Jimi Hendrix as well as the iconic Louis Armstrong, made the cut in the musicians’ category. The list released via www.thefamouspeople.com also includes former Isreali Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon( politician) and business tycoon, Peter Drucker.
Prophet T.B Joshua and Professor Wole Soyinka are the only Nigerians on the list.
