Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Adedayo Oyedola in one word is incredible. With work experience spanning across banking, television and advertising with specialization in structured finance, international trade, treasury management, financial reporting, taxation and auditing, she has established herself as a force to reckon with in various industries. Currently, she heads the finance team of one of the divisions in the MultiChoice Group Nigeria, a leading pay-TV company in Africa.
She has not one but two accounting honors degrees from Lagos State University (Nigeria) and Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom), as well as an Executive MBA degree from Lagos Business School where she was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) society (top honours).
As the ex-President of the BGS society, Lagos Business School Chapter, she used the platform to promote the importance of mental well-being and the development of public speaking skills. She is a faculty member at Nungu Business School where she facilitates strategic management and project management courses using the case study method.
Aside from work, she is also a volunteer coach and speaker with Banner Unto Nations Foundation, an NGO focused on proffering sustainable solutions to environmental, social and economic challenges in Africa. She counsels SMEs in areas of strategy formulation and implementation, accounting, finance, and creating sustainable competitive advantage.
She is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and an associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation. She has attended various leadership trainings in reputable schools including IESE Business School (Barcelona, Spain), Lagos Business School, and Harvard Business Publishing (an affiliate of Harvard Business School).
Adedayo is self-motivated, a finance enthusiast, and one with a passion for mentoring youths in their formative years. These are the true qualities of a role model. We are proud of her achievements and contributions to making a better nation.
