Our Man Crush Monday, Nonso Nduanya is a highly experienced professional in marketing and corporate communications. Currently, he holds the prestigious position of Group Head of Brand, Marketing, and Communication at the Parthian Group. In this capacity, he has a comprehensive oversight of numerous brands under the Parthian Group umbrella, including the renowned tech investment brand, I-invest.
Nonso embarked on his career as at the creative agency SO&U, where he made significant contributions in raising the profile and visibility of well-known Fast-Moving Consumer Goods FMCG (brands) such as Guinness, P&G’s Ariel, and Nestlé Pure Life. Since this start, Nonso has played pivotal roles in the branding and advertising endeavours of Diamond Bank plc, then as Head of Internal Communication at United Bank for Africa (UBA). During his tenure at UBA, Nonso successfully spearheaded the launch of innovative initiatives, such as WhatsApp banking (chat banking).
Nonso’s academic accomplishments include a first class honours degree in Visual Communication Design from University of Nigeria Nsukka’s Fine and Applied Arts department. Furthermore, he earned a master’s degree in Marketing Communication from Pan-Atlantic University. His professional standing is underscored by his associate memberships in both the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
