Throwback Thursday creates nostalgia. If you had an interesting childhood, it is reminder of your progress till date.
Today, we would be looking at cartoons we loved as kids. There were so many cartoons, so it won’t be possible to list them all. Whenever we were not playing, we were engrossed with watching cartoon on television. Of course, that was after we had finished our homework and house work.
So here is a rundown of cartoons we watched as kids:
“Muppet Babies” is an animated television series that features the toddler versions of beloved Muppets characters. Aimed at children from ages 4 to 7, the program follows the playroom antics of a young Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal and others. Miss Nanny returns to encourage the muppet babies to explore their creativity, imagination, and how to use their creative thinking to solve any problem that may be tossed their way.
This international hit from the 1980s remained a much-loved favourite of viewers to this day. This series for both the young and young at heart follows the adventures of the Fraggles, a race of short, furry creatures living a carefree existence in a complex network of magical caves. When they’re not filling their time playing games, singing songs or dancing their cares away, Gobo, Mokey, Red, Wembley and Boober Fraggle seek the sage advice of Marjory the Trash Heap, nosh on the confectionary constructions of the industrious Doozers, and attempt to stay clear of the giant beings known as Gorgs.
Pingu is a clumsy young penguin who lives with his family on a polar ice cap in Antarctica. Pingu goes on adventures with his sister, Pinga, and his friend, Robby the seal.
DoDo, The Kid from Outer Space is an animated cartoon series that was syndicated to television from 1965-1970. The series follows DoDo, a young humanoid extraterrestrial from the planet Hena Hydro, who has come to Earth in his flying saucer, and has numerous adventures.

6. Tom and Jerry
Tom and Jerry is an American animated franchise and series of comedy short films created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Best known for its 161 theatrical short films by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the series centers on the rivalry between the titular characters of a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry.
