“Winners never quit, quitters never win.”
We can all safely agree that in order for you to make sales in business, your customer need to know about your services. Your company needs to be the head and not the tail and lead in your sector. To stand out and be counted you need to have a competitive edge. You must walk differently, talk differently and act differently. When you leave a room, you must make an impression on those you left behind. The ideal scenario for introducing yourself is for someone to tell you who you are and what you do as soon as they hear your company name. Business is a harsh world. To be sustainable you must have thick skin and a great business acumen. Always look at ways in which you can improve your product and service.
On Wednesday 2nd July 2014 my company ‘MPLOYME’ won the Ixion Gold Challenger Award for overcoming insurmountable obstacles in business. Ixion business focus is “Skills, Employment, Enterprise & Innovation for Growth”. You can find out more about their services here: www.ixionholdings.com. It was a fine sunny day in London when I attended Ixion award ceremony at Westminster Hall and got to network with other fantastic businesses. I am a testament that you should never give up and you must keep on no matter what! Never give up or give in. The race is for she who endures.
Rule 1: Listen To Your Customer – First rule ALWAYS listen to your customer! They are the ones who put food on your table . You must hear what they have to say and improve on weak areas.
Rule 2: Create A Buzz – Word of mouth is the best form of sales and marketing. Keep your business on the tips of people’s tongues. If you can maintain the excitement about what it is you do, your brand will spread like wild fire.
Rule 3: Be Consistent – Your customers like familiarity. If you are blogging about what your services set a specific day in which you write your blogs. This will build up your momentum and following.
Rule 4: Commit Your Time – I have never met an entrepreneur who worked less than 8 hours in a day in business. The amount of times I have spent sending out emails and making international business calls have been around the clock. Be prepared to go the extra mile.
Rule 5: Win Awards – To date I have won three awards. The publicity you get for winning awards will most definitely raise your profile. Make sure you investigate what awards are in your industry and get your peers to enter you.
