Veteran ‘Afrojuju’ singer, Sir Shina Peters has been ordained as a Bishop of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church over the weekend. The music legend was ordained at a ceremony held at a Cherubim and Seraphim Church in the Iju area of Lagos on Saturday being January 30th. Sharing a video from his ordination ceremony on his official Instagram page, Peters simply wrote; ‘‘Bishop with the swagger. With her appointment, Professor Ekanem Ikpi Braide, a Professor of Parasitology/Epidemiology becomes the 19th President of the Academy.
