As GOtv celebrates a list of exciting programmes in the month of May, the star-studded wedding between song diva, Tiwa Savaage and her lover, TeeBillz ranks among the fray expected to compete for the attention of GOgetters, as the pay TV subscribers are called.

Tiwa’s wedding in Dubai airs on HipTV Channel 74 on Gotv this Saturday, with promises of the glitz and side attractions that had label CEO, Don Jazzy with his lavish gift of a Prado Jeep and other music stars in their most elegant outfits. Channel O will also be expected to feature Don Jazzy, a multi award-winning record producer, singer-songwriter, musician, and former CEO of Mo’ Hits Records on May 22.

But there is more for viewers of GOtv, as the line-up on AfricaMagic includes Dads can cook; a Kenyan TV show that takes successful industry leaders out of their busy work lives and into the kitchen to cook their favorite recipes.

“From cooking shows on AfricaMagic to old romantic classics like Take the Lead, Fatal Justice and Ricochet; M-Net Movies Zone will keep you falling in love all over again and keep you at the edge of your seat with an adventurous movies every Saturday this month,” says Efe Obiomah, Public Relations Manager, GOtv.

Obiomah noted that Sony Entertainment and BET are also bringing comedy back this month, with the highly-acclaimed comedy series Girlfriends and the all-star cast of Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, and Boris Kodjoe on The Real Husbands of Hollywood…The Story so far.

“Also, fashion lovers should watch out for the Fashion Police on the 2014 Billboard Music Awards as the hilariously opinionated Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne review the fashion featured at the event- from the fabulous to the forgettable,” she said.

The month’s chart is also expected to sustain the global news on CNN and Al Jazeera, even as GOtv celebrates all things Africa on May 25, to commemorate Africa Day on Discovery World.

For kiddies and music lovers, Obiomah reveals that there will be a premiere of Sheriff Callie’s Wild West on Disney Junior, and Telenovela lovers should watch out for brand new soaps on Televista and Telemundo.
