Have you thought about going into a relationship with someone you met online? Regular texting, video calls and chats are things you look forward to daily. Then all of a sudden, you go online one day and the person you thought of disappears into thin air. Sometimes it is very bad, they block you and you are like ‘what really happened??’. Well, don’t fret. This situation is a syndrome attached to people who share the following characteristics:
1.They are scared of breaking up with you
The person is tired of you apparently. The excitement and adventures of the new found relationship has ‘expired’ and he/she wants a new catch or love. So they don’t know how to break up with you nicely so they do quietly by ghosting you. This is a signal that they don’t want any form of closure. They just want to leave you hanging wondering what went wrong.
2. They don’t want to commit
The person is scared of attachments. They are not buying any of that feeling or allegiance that they are solely yours. By ghosting you, they back out of the relationship without letting you know why. It is rude way of keeping the other person at bay.
3. Serial dater syndrome
The person just wants to have their way with the other person. Once that is accomplished they move to the next victim. This is very common with serial daters, they have no future plans with the other person other than getting what they want and dropping out.
