South Africa’s banks will find it tougher to turn a profit as the economy remains feeble for the next few years and credit risks rise, credit ratings agency Standard & Poor’s said on Thursday. Stakeholders in the logistics sector have agreed to work together to craft a national logistics strategic plan in order to pilot Nigeria into a truly diversified and competitive economy. The agreement was reached at the maiden edition of the National Logistics Strategy Summit . The Finance Minister, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has said that the federal government would not make deductions from states’ Federation Account allocations for the month of March on their restructured loans so as to allow them pay their workers’ salaries.
