South Africa’s central bank will keep raising interest rates as necessary to keep inflation in check, the bank’s governor said at its monetary policy forum on Monday. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has distanced itself from one Mr. Lawson Ngoa who is parading himself as interim management secretary of the Association. Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has commissioned a $2 million NLNG Centre for Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Engineering of the University of Port Harcourt. The project is part of the company’s $12 million University Support Programme. The centre is the third of six world class science/engineering laboratories to be commissioned by the company. In November 2015 and March 2016, NLNG commissioned the Ahmadu Bello University Multi-user Engineering Laboratory and the University of Ibadan Engineering Complex respectively.
