While you were an undergraduate, you most likely belonged to a Campus Fellowship. It was a community of believers who held the same values and beliefs. Campus Fellowships remain a major part of campus life with revivals and retreat activities they hold. Today, we are taking a throwback to all the characters that make up a campus fellowship, see if you can identify with all of them below:
1. Papa
They were the leaders of the Campus Fellowship. The tongue-speaking Papas were always dressed up in suits, trousers and fine shoes with big bibles. Their anointing was on a different level.
2. The Protocols
They followed the fellowship Papa around walking side by side with him, carrying the Papa’s Bible and other items.
3. The Choirmaster
Their duty involves fire ministrations. Among them is the spiritual keyboardist who plays a spiritual tune during the sermon. Most times, a lot of the sisters crush on them and a lot of the fellowship members poke noses to see who the choirmaster will date in the end.
4. Ushers
Ever smiling and smartly dressed, the ushers make you feel welcomed at Campus Fellowship. However, don’t be deceived, it is not all of them that are cheerful. Some of them just frown and are grumpy.
5. The Spiritual sister
They are the real ‘wife materials’. Some of them wear make-up, others don’t. But most of the time, they maintain the role of sisters’ co-ordinator running several sisters’ programmes for the Campus Fellowship.
6. The Spiritual Brother
This brother-in-the-Lord is too spiritual. He is very active in running Campus Fellowship programmes such as “Becoming a Leader”, “School of Discipleship”, “Men of Valour.” As a prayer cord, he holds vigils to secure their position as a Campus Fellowship leader.
