Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Malebogo Marumoagae is an exemplary business leader. She is the founder and director of the award-winning Belle Larissa (Pty) Ltd, an organisation that provides training and development which assists individuals and corporates to reach the peak of their careers/businesses.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Population Studies, Ms Marumoagae also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Botswana. She is passionate about building the personal brands of individuals and corporate entities. Over the years, she has also helped them develop their communication skills, business/social etiquette and level of performance.
As a coach and trainer, Ms Marumoagae has worked with notable brands such as Botswana Life Insurance Limited, Absa Botswana, Stanbic Bank, Botswana Stock Exchange, Botswana Bureau of Standards, Letshego Financial Services and multiple Government Departments and Parastatals.
She currently holds a character-building program widely known as the I AM ENOUGH Workshops, targeted at children aged 6-18 years. Through the program, she has provided the participants with the required skills to boost their social, and emotional growth and their academic performance. Her program equips participants with important life skills covering respect, responsibility, resilience, perseverance, and dealing with stress and anxiety. Her program also teaches how to identify and embrace one’s strengths and uniqueness. Since its inception on August 2020, the program has successfully trained close to 1000 children from different parts of Botswana.
As the Convener of the Annual Women in Mining Conference, Ms Marumoagae unites different mining stakeholders locally and internationally to uphold and recognise the achievements of women in the mining sector particularly in Southern Africa and Botswana. At the conference, they discuss policies and recommend new generational policy trends that empower women.
