By Ifeoluwani Funsho-Adeolu Growing up in a family of 5 was awesome for me. We had tons of joys and well…. A considerable amount of tears. My father was a man of very few words but when he did speak, he could make the whole earth shiver with power, I mean that literally. My mum, ever the disciplinarian would teach my sisters’ and I to be lady like at all times. I guess that’s why I would never forget her and how she taught my sisters and I to be spontaneous, take risks, take chances, jump with your eyes open,…
By Ifeoluwani Funso-Adeolu When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I was awed by the realization, and I knew my sisters would send me all sorts of notes, yummy quotes and add colors to my eyes. And my friends, more seasoned mamas, more experienced sweethearts–were all right. Ifemide, my son, whom I also nicknamed Bubbles because he’s the most bubbly child I’ve ever known plus he blows cute bubbles with his mouth…

The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has said that no one can arrive at a fair assessment of the present administrations achievement in the last one year but so far what is glaring is that the federal government has saved the economy from collapse. Gbajabiamila who made the comment at a town hall meeting in his Suru Lere constituency in Lagos explained that one year is not enough to give a fair or concise verdict. He said the present administration inherited a comatose economy, but judiciously implemented a budget prepared by previous administration at 80 percent…

Air passenger demand in April rose at its slowest rate since January 2015, weighed by the March attacks on Brussels airport and highlighting safety as one of the main challenges facing top airline executives meeting this week. While airlines are enjoying a boost from lower oil prices, weakening economies and falling ticket prices are also posing problems for a sector which operates on thin profit margins. The International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) latest air passenger figures, released on Monday, showed demand rose by 4.6 percent in April, following the suicide bomb attacks in Brussels that killed 16 people at the…
