Former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been appointed to head of an advisory committee that will revive the educational sector in Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states of North-West Nigeria. Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the Nigerian  Army have succeeded in decimating the Boko Haram insurgents such that they can no longer launch any big attack.
