As the buzz sizzles for the November 1 to 7 week of fun in Lagos trending as the COSON Week, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) is joining forces with one of Nigeria’s most forward looking public relations firms, Black House Media (BHM) led by NET publisher, Mr. Ayeni Adekunle Samuel to make the COSON Week unforgettable.
For several weeks, the internet has been agog that Lagos will be on ‘fire’ from November 1 to 7 as the COSON Week explodes with seven mega entertainment events in seven different enchanting venues in the city during seven magical days with each of the seven events having its own unique theme, style and presentation. With the buzz, the event which has been coined “the World Cup of Entertainment’ and the “Olympic Games of Showbizness” and the questions have kept coming: “November 1 to 7, what exactly will happen in Lagos, where, when and how?”
These questions are set to be answered on Tuesday, August 25 at the COSON Headquarters in Opebi, Lagos as the details of the 2015 COSON Week are made public to a hoard of stars and media.
On Friday, August 14, BHM CEO, Ayeni Adekunle was at COSON Headquarters where he met with the leadership of COSON. Ideas were exchanged on how to make each of the seven events of the COSON Week extraordinary.
After the meeting, COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji said, “we are constructing a massive organizational and media backbone the likes of which has not been attempted in these parts. We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the 2015 COSON Week is world class. We are beaming the great images from Lagos to the world. We are also mobilizing the musicians of Nigeria, young and old, like never before as we remain steadfast in our drive to ensure that Lagos is the undisputed entertainment capital of the continent with the consequent benefits in investments, tourism and the social wellbeing of the people”.
