We are excited to have Fiona Egube as our Woman Crush Wednesday. She is a software engineering senior manager and also a content creator on Instagram.
At the age of 16, she relocated to the United States and obtained her bachelor’s in Business Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After that, she worked for Apple and grew an interest in IT; eventually deciding to return to school for a master’s in Management Information Systems.

While obtaining her master’s degree, she got an internship in Accenture, one of the top consulting companies in the world. Having distinguished herself as a hardworking intern, she was offered a job upon completion of her degree. During her work with Accenture, she continued to be an exceptional worker that she was sponsored to obtain a master’s certificate from Duke University where she focused on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.
Fiona worked as a software engineer with the company for over three years, and while working there, she spearheaded their Big Data and AI training programme to foster learning among employees in these subject areas.
Moving on to a senior consultant position at Trianz Consulting, she started creating content on her Instagram page. It had been an innate talent all along. From a young age, she has always been a writer who enjoyed storytelling. Now she is using her Instagram page to do that. In less than a year, she was able to gain mass followership of over 60k on Instagram since she dropped her first skit. This proves that consistency, the right strategy, and hard work pay off.

Set to write and produce for the film and television industry, Fiona is working to become a TV show anchor. Recently she accepted an offer to become a senior manager at Capgemini, another top consulting company where she will be using her skills in cloud technologies to build their software engineering segment.

Fiona is a focused and determined career professional. These qualities are some of her endearing qualities we admire. She is a big inspiration to women and we celebrate her all the way.
