Every woman (and man I dare say) loathes pimples and acne. They can be likened to those friends you don’t invite, but they show up anyway. And it doesn’t matter how much you try, they never get the hint to leave. There might be a solution for you – and no, the solution isn’t for your uninvited friends.
If you suffer from acne or pimples and you’ve unsuccessfully tried to get rid of dark spots, wrinkles or eye bags, then this post is your ‘knight in clear skin amour’.
Our skin suffers and loses its vibrancy and elasticity when exposed to harsh weather conditions, poor eating habits, stress, excessive smoking and alcohol consumption. These have the tendency to cause acne, pimples, eye bags, and wrinkles. However, there are natural remedies that help combat the effects of these harmful activities and return the glow to your skin.
Banana and Egg Mix
Bananas contain potassium, vitamin A and lectin. Potassium helps to moisturize dehydrated skin, vitamin A clears the scars caused by acne or pimples, while lectin helps destroy the bacteria that causes acne and pimples.
What You Need
Banana
Raw egg whites
A bowl
A fork
Warm water
A Clean cloth
What To Do
- Slice the banana into a small bowl.
- Mash with a fork until a pasty consistency.
- Pour the egg white into the paste and stir continuously.
- Apply the mixture to your face with your fingers and massage into your skin gently.
- Wait 15-20 minutes and rinse off with warm water or a gentle facial cleanser and a soft clean cloth.
Green Tea and Sugar Mix
Green tea contains antioxidants, astringents, and anti-inflammatory components that help fight against acne and the formation of pimples. Sugar helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.

A bowl

- Slice the cucumber into tiny bits and blend or mash up with a fork until it becomes pasty.

Honey
Honey, just like green tea, is loaded with antioxidants. It also contains a good amount of minerals and vitamins which serves as an anti-ageing treatment. It heals scars and burns, sheds dead skin cells and acts as a moisturizer.

1 tablespoon of raw honey
What to do
- Apply the honey to your face with your fingers and massage into your skin.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Wipe it off with a clean cloth dipped in warm water
Any natural facial treatment you try should be repeated daily for 2-3 weeks.
